The festivities for Season 9 of The Masked Singer have already begun. This week on the hit singing competition show, Scorpio, Doll and Moose are the new contestants battling for a position in the quarterfinals.
It’s ’80s night, so you can expect to hear the three of them belting out their favorite songs from the neon era. In anticipation of an episode set in the 1980s, we can’t help but speculate on who the performers may be, notably the rough-and-tumble Moose.
Who is Moose on Masked Singer?
There was no shortage of throwback and daring performances on “The Masked Singer” on “’80s Night”. During the March 29 broadcast of the competition show, two additional contestants had their masks removed, revealing a “Cheers” icon and a reality starlet hiding out as the Moose and the Scorpio, respectively.
The panelists took turns guessing who the Moose could be after he sang “The Power of Love” by Huey Lewis & the News. Jenny McCarthy was the only one who guessed correctly when George Wendt was revealed to be the Moose, beating out Nicole Scherzinger, Robin Thicke and Ken Jeong.
In the video given below you can see that George Wendt is behind the mask of Moose.
The actor who played Norm Peterson on “Cheers” took off his makeup and explained why he wanted to be a part of the show. He said to Nick Cannon, “I thought maybe I’d win”. When pushed to elaborate, Wendt said that his time on “The Masked Singer” was profoundly absurd.
“Let’s go have a beer,” he said when asked if he had any final words for the panel or the people watching at home. Another reveal occurred later in the evening. None of the panelists guessed the golden Scorpio right.
Many famous women’s names were mentioned including Denise Richards, Lisa Rinna, Willa Ford and even Heidi Klum. Unfortunately, it turned out to be “Selling Sunset” actor Christine Quinn hiding behind the disguise.
